Your child's first visit

A first visit for a young child takes about half an hour.

  1. Step 1: Request a visit

Use the form or call us. Tell us your child's age, a day that suits you and how you'd like us to reply.

  2. Step 2: We check your plan

If your child has dental insurance, we check the plan's benefits and tell you what it says it covers before you come in.

  3. Step 3: Fill in the forms

Health history and consent forms live in the practice's own secure portal, not on this website. Paper forms are there if you'd rather.

  4. Step 4: A look around

Your child sees the room and meets the team. You stay with them the whole time.

  5. Step 5: The checkup and your plan

The dentist looks at teeth, gums and bite, tells you what they found, and gives you a written plan and estimate if any treatment is needed.

Before you come in

What do I bring to the first visit?

Your insurance card if you have one, a photo ID and a list of any medicines your child takes. If your child has recent dental X-rays, bring them or ask your old office to send them.

Do I fill in medical details on this website?

No. Our contact form asks for no medical details. Your child's health history goes on the forms in the practice's own secure portal.

Can I stay with my child?

Yes. Parents stay with their child for every visit, and you can ask the dentist anything along the way.

Ready to book a first visit?

Tell us your child's age and a good time. We'll take it from there.
